ABOUT THE ARTWORK
All of my Abstracts have multiple layers, This way I create depth (even in my all-white paintings) and richness from different angles.I finish my Abstracts with 24ct Gold and/or Copper. In 2016 I switched from 17th C. realistic oil painting to large Abstracts (Abstract Expressionism) as an (to me necessary) inner response to the fast-changing world and events that the world witnessed in the previous years Creating my colorful vibrant Abstracts is a conscious choice of positivity, and stem from happiness and gratitude within, and from my inmense love for Colors and the positive effect they have on my mood. None of my Artworks need to be framed, as I consider the sides as part of the whole work. They are ready to hang once they get to your home. This particular painting found a home in the Upper East side of Manhattan, New York, U.S.A.

Jacqueline Mac Mootry-Everaert is a Dutch artist who lived and worked in Brazil, the Caribbean and The Netherlands. She travelled around the world for 15 years, finding inspiration on all (but one) continents. She has exibited in London, New york, Paris, Amsterdam, Dubai, Düsseldorf and other major cities. Her work is held in private collections around the globe. Dynamic colors, rich depth and atmosphere through layers and textures are the artist's trademark. Jacqueline received a 3-year classical education in 17th Century techniques and realistic oil painting in The Netherlands, and more recently in figure/nude drawing at the Klassieke Academie Groningen, also in The Netherlands. Since 2016 she found her passion in creating larger colorful Abstracts, built up through layers of acrylic paint and 24ct gold leaf.
