As a kid, I loved magic! Good magic of course, that solves seemingly unsurmountable problems quickly and effectively. I tried to capture the joy and wonder of the magician's spell in a semi-abstract way, appreciating that sometimes chaos can ensue when a spell goes wrong. The magician's top hat at lower right is both the focus and source of the spell - bright colors and big shapes swirls to give the viewer the sense of movement, wonder, and hopefully, joy!
