About The Artwork
I was inspired in the profound depths and mysteries of underwater and the lights coming from the inner core showing ellighted paths to the surface. I hope its viewers may be able to feel this message of light and freedom. I am interested in water. It shows my passion for its dichotomist meanings such as life and creation, force and destruction, peace and calmness. I believe my work is in a hyper realistic way painted using op art distortions with a surrealistic theme. Textures and transparencies are important as well as movement and light. Acrylic colours are intense within the blue palette. It will be a pleasure for me to listen to your opinion and curacy. Tell me please if I have excluded any item which I may add. About me I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1961. I am an architect, art teacher in an English school and visual artist painting pictures and illustrating books. Thank you. Andrea.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1961. Since I was a child I loved the different painting techniques. In 1986 I graduated as Architect specialized in Communication at Universidad de Belgrano, Bs. As. Argentina. Later, my family and I moved to Pilar in the outskirts of Bs As. I studied at UTN University (Universidad Tecnologica Nacional) and became Art teacher ;anI started giving clases and sharing my passion for art with children, - now 19 year already-. This passion for art and architecture led me to start drawing and painting since I was very young and invited friends home to paint. Today, my life is around art clases, painting and exposing art works plus building private houses.
