Admiración Painting

Artist and Chemical Engineer (PhD), who has exhibited his artworks at the prestigious Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) and other museums in Europe. STATEMENT By means of stains, I can express myself covering an infinite range of possibilities, which goes from total abstraction to figuration. Abstraction gives me the total freedom to create without any limits and figuration gives me the opportunity to give form to those stains. However, sometimes I can only find what I am looking for working in between those limits. Childhood is one of my favorite subjects because I believe that the pure state of a human being is ephemeral and only exists during this stage of life. Children objectively represent the initial state of life, the start of a finite cycle. How would be the world if the initial pure state remained until the end? The sea often influences my paintings, probably because of the city where I come from, Valencia, Mediterranean city. My research experience as a Chemical Engineer in the field of Material Science has helped me to develop new stain painting procedures and techniques which let me express the way I am and the way I see reality. As Oscar Wilde said: "No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist"
