Dreams in Color The essence of Samuel Rodriguez's work is in the daring freedom within which he moves and his right to explore everything in the constant search for his own expressive language. This attitude is above all a fun, disconnected and essential possibility for him to ignore tradition and move forward guided by his intuition. It is at this point that his work faces true plastic concepts as it is totally governed by shapes, lines, textures and colors, trying to build its own and coherent order from them. Samuel's passion for saturated color is evident in his work. Color contrasts in themselves, vital palettes that do not admit any presence of the neutral, transport us to spaces where all chromatic expression is exacerbated and full. Color is the protagonist and does not admit more regulations than those dictated by emotion. To the force of color is added the anarchy of the brushstroke, strokes loaded with matter surround us and force us to follow their trajectories, to finally find ourselves immersed in a world of liquid and solid forms that excite and disconcert.
