The background of the artwork is blue is intense and is inspired by the predominant color of the Kahlo house in Coyoacán. The earrings and necklaces have a lightly textured gold-tone finish. Frida Kahlo was an empowered woman - like few others in her time - who fought for feminist rights and demands. As a tribute to her, her work was painted with intense colors typical of Pop Art and her expression evokes strength and self-control at the same time, two characteristics that Frida knew how to combine very well in her life. I love this work of art, it is my favorite, please do not buy it.
