I have been inspired by Michael Jackson's famous bright and shiny glove for some time which become an idol, a savior object for the singer that was hiding his skin. We don't know for sure why the singer was wearing a glove but became part of his history, therefore the history of pop, and the history of the twentieth century. Here, the needle and the medical pills become idols of the twenty-first century as certain medications are not only mandatory these days but favorable, trendy, and colorful. In the series of magnified glove holding a single needle, this painting is the second one.
