About The Artwork

Summertime in NYC makes you appreciate water so much more than the rest of the year. Drinking by the gallon and needing a shower every hour in the sweltering heat makes one appreciate the abundance of water represented by a water tower. Water towers are characteristic of the NYC landscape. This large on in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is an icon of the neighborhood. This painting captures the electric heat behind a reflective silhouette of the urban landscape painted with crystal like metallic paint that sparkles as the viewer moves.
