ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"In the library" is an artwork part of the artist's collection called 'Industrial chic'. Flavia Birsan worked on a 70x50 cm canvas mixing soft acrylic colors (rose and beige, with black accents). The author wanted to suggest the atmosphere of a space full of stories, an atmosphere that you can only find in a library. Birsan worked with thick paste to create a thick, expressive texture and inserted an old book page in color. As usual, she worked exclusively with palette knife technique. The artwork fits in modern or romantic interiors. The sides are painted, so it is a ready to hang piece.
