When I wrote my work “Memory cells. Spain ", the word" Polyphony "came to me, and this despite the fact that I have never done music. Polyphony in music is a type of polyphony when several melodies sound simultaneously in a vocal or instrumental piece. Polyphony in literature and painting: artistic diversity, versatility of the work, its complex structure. A direct hit with my Memory Cells, since each fragment of the picture is an independent party, each fragment written is endowed with its own voice, its own "knowledge of the world." But in general, this is a kind of game of mind, intuition and remember! I will give just one excerpt, this is a fragment where candies are drawn: In Barcelona, ​​we rented an apartment in the city center next to Gran de Gràcia near Antoni Gaudí's Mila. This is already happiness! And so on March 3, 2016, it was my birthday, in the morning we saw some preparations, carts with horses, people dressed in suits, we did not know what it was, we went to wander around the city, see the sights, according to our program. Returning in the evening, we find ourselves at a real festival, parade, a riot of music, sweets, joy, songs. It turns out to be the annual Sant Medir festival that takes place on March 3rd. The Sant Medir festival is affectionately called in Catalan "la festa més Dolça" - translated as "the sweetest holiday" because of the 60 tons of sweets that are presented each year during the colorful Sant Medir procession - a horse parade with more than 120 horses, adding to the celebration solemnity. About 30 parade groups (called Colles) gather on various streets in "Vila de Gracia", which is the old part of Gracia, and then move together to Carrer de Sant Salvador to form a procession with horses, carts and trucks, and groups of musicians ... They then form a procession called Gran de Gràcia. First there are musicians, carriages and then trucks with sweets (this is one group). Sweets rain down from every passing carriage, truck. It's fun, joyful! Children and adults collect candy in pockets, packages, rejoice, laugh! Then there is the second group, etc., Awesome processions! The holiday ends with a beautiful fireworks display. It was my coolest birthday ever!
