Neraster Painting

Abstract night skies, colorful nebula`s and exciting abstract works in which anyone can see anything.... as long as they are open to magic..... Ever since I was a little girl, I was surrounded by art; my mom painted, my aunts painted and for as long as I can remember; I painted. This all under the influence of my dad’s love for classical music. I grew up in Africa and the Netherlands, always painting, throughout all my school years. My mom had expositions and was selling and was always covered in paint. She was always on her way to learn some more techniques or to another expo and taught me how to paint. After travelling around the world, and gazing upon the night sky of Australia for many months, I finally settled in Switzerland and picked up painting again after a few years of pause. I started again small, but always abstract, and I continued with bigger and bigger canvases and ventured in the world of night skies. If I am not painting I am either horse riding, scuba diving or reading many books. I’ve had expositions in the French part of Switzerland, as I lived in Lausanne for 6 years. Right now I have settled in a small village in Baselland and will continue to explore art and expo's throughout the world.
