No One Is As Invested In Your Dreams As You Are Painting

I am a contemporary painter living and working in Los Angeles, California. My debut solo show Sticks/Stones was at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles in May 2022. Departing from my usual abstract figures, I drew inspiration from a crowdsourced project where I received more than 100 responses from people around the world, answering the question, "What is a phrase you have in your head that has stayed with you forever?" The collected entries were funneled through my artistic interpretation to create the Sticks/Stones text-based collection. I paint with water based and oil paint, oil and soft pastels, spray paint and oil sticks. I have exhibited in California and New York City and has been featured in Studio Visit Magazine volumes 43/44, 45/46, and 47/48 as well as Spotlight Contemporary Art Magazine 18. I am a member of Tag Gallery, Los Angeles Art Association, and sit on the Board of San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center, and Southern California Women’s Caucus for Art.
