The visual field of the human being is the physical space that his eyes capture, both the elements that are displayed in detail, as well as the landscape and the environment that are seen more diffusely. Not all people have the same visual field, this depends on the differences seen in the eyes of each one, the physical characteristics and the optical accessories that they use. Margarita Garcés, has worked understanding this difference. Contributing his special characteristics and his resolute temperament, he begins to explore the contrasts that arise considering the use of painting and its expressive imprint in the exhaustive investigation of the landscape. In this circumstance, the artist has been developing for three years with the consequent process of visual absorption, the set of works shows a kind of light blindness, product of prolonged exposure to the vast latitudes of the ice fields and the whitish landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.
