About The Artwork
This painting began as a very large scale journal entry of ink on paper. The larger paper was then cut up into smaller pieces. The journey entry was prompted by the question 'Should I Stay' and free writing ensued from this to create the written ink background of the piece. Layers of heavy body acrylic with gel medium, sand, collage papers, and water soluble graphite were added to create the final piece.
