ABOUT THE ARTWORK

It started with visiting the local Koala Park with an overseas visitor. She really wanted to take one of those lovely animals back to Europe. As she couldn't take the real thing, we decided that a painting of a Koala would be a replacement for it. I did two different versions and as her space in her suitcase was restricted she decided on the smaller version. Now somebody else can be so lucky and own the second larger version of this lovely animal. This sleepy little fellow is painted using acrylic paint on 300msg acrylic paperand framed with a 40cm x 50cm modern white frame Salon style hanging Paintings which are categorised as “small format” works are dynamic collectibles.  Art lovers can build a collection of small sized pictures by theme, or artist, or medium or even a similar colour. Please note that artwork displayed in rooms are for the purpose of demonstration only and not always to the exact scale. Please check dimensions for actual size. Other frames shown in the display are a suggestion only. The Artwork is signed on the front. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out within 1-3 business days. Copyright: ©mARTa. All rights reserved

I am a visual artist based in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Arts in Berlin and a Diploma of Visual Art from Bremer TAFE at Bundamba. I am constantly improving my skills to be an accomplished artist by visiting different workshops offered by the Logan Art Gallery. As a member of Art West Community Gallery, I am able to exhibit my works through their physical Gallery. I am also supported by online Galleries like Bluethumb and Art Lovers. and am the proud owner of the , a website where you can find a huge collection of art in different styles, themes, colours, medium, size and price. My earlier works mainly focused on still life and realism, but my latest pieces incorporate abstract fluid acrylics with traditional painting methods. Despite both styles depicting the natural world, they convey two vastly different interpretations. My earlier work is meticulous and controlled, while my current pieces celebrate the untamed and unexpected beauty of nature. In addition to my artistic endeavours, I am also exploring Acrylic Pouring and Alcohol Ink as these methods lend themself well to smaller art pieces, making them more affordable and often collectible. Small artworks can serve as the starting point for building your own art collection. Thank you for taking the time to appreciate my works.
