Tatra Mountains in January Painting

Olga Deptula was born and raised in northern Poland, surrounded by art created by her father. She attended the prestigious Art High School in Gdynia-Orłowo, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. From an early age, she was looking for a way to express herself through various forms of art. Her painting is a story of a person sensitive to the surrounding world. The painter draws inspiration from nature, her inner self and music. Using colors and dynamic brushstrokes, she expresses her emotional state, inner experiences and abstract contepts. Driven by constant need of exploring what lies between the conscious and the unconscious, artist creates her safe space and intimate realms. The artist's works can be found in private collections in Poland, Germany, Sweden and the United States.
