The Noise of Time 3 Painting

Alethea Eriksson is a South African-Swiss abstract landscape painter based in Baden, Switzerland. Nature has always been a place of refuge and regeneration for her. Her expressive abstract artworks communicate the wonder and wellbeing she feels in the presence of the elements, the seasons and wild uninhabited places. Her paintings offer the viewer a spacious window to this world, inviting them to connect with their own experience of a nature. At the same time her paintings are an exploration of paint, colour, line and form. They are multi-layered with lots of gestural mark-making which gives them a sense of energy, spaciousness and depth. They emerge from an intuitive process with encourages play and chance.
