In this grotesque modern reinterpretation of the biblical Ark, the salvation vessel is no longer a wooden lifeboat for all creatures—but a gleaming, bloated luxury yacht, cutting through dark, poisoned waters. A modern Ukrainian artist. Lives and works in Kyiv. Works with various techniques such as painting, graphic, collage. is a master of expressive painting. During the process of creating his canvases, he delves deeply into his inner world, thereby producing unforgettable thematic motifs. In exploring Yevhen's works, one can notice the incredible depth of colors and the play of contrasts, reminiscent of the painting style of Oleg Holosiy – a renowned Ukrainian artist and innovator, representative of the New Wave of Ukrainian art in the 1980s-1990s, and a member of the "Paris Commune" art squat in Kyiv. Yevhen hails from the city of Dnipro, where both artists studied at the same art school. Moreover, Yevhen Klymenko is personally acquainted with Holosiy's teacher. Similar to Holosiy, Yevhen can be considered a very progressive artist, as he internalizes images and consistently creates something unexpected, surprising the public each time. Some of Yevhen's works may seem light and calm at first glance, but upon closer examination, they reveal a strong, almost tearing tension. His artistic strategy is marked by spontaneity: he creates as naturally as he breathes, guided by visions and intense emotions, extracting images from the subconscious.
