The enigma of a kiss Painting

Tony is an Irish artist, born in 1959. He lives just outside the small village of Piltown in South Kilkenny in the south-east of Ireland. Tony started painting in 1992 and is self taught. In 2000 he seized the opportunity to become a full-time artist and continues to develop his work into a recognizable "style" of his own. His paintings are collected worldwide. ARTISTS STATEMENT "My inspiration is literally Universal. There are no rules,reasons or explanations. I treat each day as a new canvas with new thoughts and dreams to influence me while my surroundings and mood sub-consciously contribute to the work in progress. For me painting is a mental voyage full of colour and surprise. Each brush stroke lets me enter a little further into a new world, a less serious place where there are no boundaries between imagination and reality."
