The two weird birds didn't know what everyone else knew underwater. Namely, that they were stuck in the wrong element. Enni bent down worriedly and saw that Albert couldn't take his eyes off the two either. That's when the good-natured Wilbo came by, he too noticed that something was wrong. The two lovers dug themselves deeper and deeper into the sand. The more desperately they tried to escape the seabed, the more deadlocked their situation became. "You two are some weird birds! What are you doing here?" The two looked at him questioningly. "We need a rescue balloon! It'll take you up to the air!" he sounded committed. "Only, unfortunately, we don't have one anymore." it occurred to him and he hung his head. But in the next moment he had a bright idea. "We'll take one of the lollipops! It rises just as well." Albert and Enni, the two plant spirits who inhabited the gigantic kelp forest, breathed a sigh of relief. True, there were still plenty of them. This painting was done in Switzerland, on the beautiful Lake Maggiore. It was fixed with a glossy varnish. Was macht ihr denn hier?“ Die beiden blickten ihn fragend an.

With my art I want to make you smile. My paintings radiate joy and ease. Together with the stories I write for the big formats they stimulate your fantasy and invite you to step into my playful world. Hello, I am Suraya Baumeister, born and raised in Heidelberg (Germany) in 1976. I studied landscape architecture in Kassel and Palermo and after living in Karlsruhe for a few years, I moved to Switzerland, to Lake Maggiore in 2010. During my studies (1997-2004) I started to paint abstract, preferably with a spatula. My individual painting style started to form in 2017. The abstract paintings I do are acrylic/mixed media on canvas. I paint them intuitively. Through the abstract painting I get inspired to draw the faces, figures, mythical creatures and elements. What stories do you see in the paintings?
