Exploring the shifting nature of memory, perception, and place, drawing inspiration from folklore and mythology to unravel the hidden stories that our natural surroundings hold. Inspired by the landscapes of my home in Cornamona, Ireland, I seek to capture the fluid, ephemeral beauty of light, time, and emotion. The digital medium allows me to push these themes further, creating glowing, layered compositions that exist beyond the limits of paint. My Rise Up collection, for example, evolves from a single painting, echoing the way identity and history fragment and reform. I’m drawn to the tension between the organic and the digital, the past and the present—finding meaning in the in-between spaces.
