As a teenager, Vanessa’s passion for painting blossomed while admiring the vibrant and delicate blooms of fruit trees in her family's back garden. Naturally inclined towards artistic expression, Vanessa also nurtured a musical talent, mastering the piano and the clarinet from an early age. Fuelled by her passion for the arts, Vanessa pursued her studies in London, undertaking A-levels in art that deepened her technical skills and expanded her creative horizons. From Asia to the Caribbean, Vanessa discovered new perspectives and drew inspiration from the landscapes, colours, and traditions she encountered along the way. However, it was the tranquil coastal life of North Cornwall, UK, that truly captured her heart and soul. Returning to her homeland, she found solace and inspiration amidst the stunning coastal scenery, immersing herself in the natural beauty and serenity of the region with a holistic approach. It was in Cornwall that Vanessa embarked on a transformative journey of art education, delving into various techniques, styles, and mediums. She sought guidance from accomplished local artists, attended workshops, and embraced the boundless creative opportunities that surrounded her.
