Weeping willows we saw every time we took a walk. It was interesting to see the changes in the dark and murky changes in the leaves of lush weeping willows in the sun or in the light of streetlights. A dynamic element was added to the screen by composing a posture hanging from the branches of sparro...

When I take a walk in the nature, All my sadness, anger, and worries disappear and finally I find my peace of mind. I feel that nature has the power to heal, even the people in nature, just as it purifies itself. As the sun sets, the darkness of the trees becomes darker and stronger, and it spreads out as if it holds moisture in it. Then the appearance of the night feels like smudging of Meok.(Meok is black ink in the oriental painting.) Meok has its unique warmth, so I was able to express nature in a calm and tranquility. All my works show I hope nature will flourish like these trees and you will fine your peace of mind in front of my works as I could in nature. It was my eldest sister who recognised my talent. Actually I was the youngest with a big age difference. My sisters and brother go to school while waiting for them to come back. I was painting the same pictures in their art textbook. She saw them and thought that. She made money by piano lesson and put me in an art college student’s Atelier. After about 4 months there, I took the art middle, and then high school entrance examination. It became an opportunity to major in art. I leaned lot of from my good painting friends and teachers. When I went to the art college of the Ewha Woman's University, I first worked on landscapes and characters. From my graduation work, I created a work of the same technique as I am now. My sister died after being sick for a long time. I worked hard to raise my children and it was hard to live. So I repeatedly gave up painting and continuously try to do it. Since 2017, finnally I started to paint in earnest with working part-time.
