Rapping Mickey Mouse by Blake LeVine - Limited Edition 2 of 100 Photograph

I was on Hollywood Boulevard when I spotted someone dressed as Mickey Mouse. He looked like he was about to rap. I am a huge fan of hip hop music and Mickey Mouse. I am known for creating a documentary titled Rap Therapy. This film taught how kids could write hip hop song, dance and art about their lives. I love taking my kids to see characters on Hollywood Boulevard. I would talk to those wearing the costumes and each was so interesting. I witnessed tourists become excited when they saw Spiderman, Superman, Zorro, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I am an author and photographer. Each image I take hopefully is unique and colorful. I have been inspired by so many artists in my life. I had the honor to meet many notables. I even remember meeting Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera as a child. They created many of the best cartoons. I never met Walt Disney but his lessons are still impacting us today. I used a Walt Disney quote in my most recent book The Psychology of Adult Coloring. It said "Off all our inventions for mass communication, pictures still speak the most universally understood language". I know how much joy Mickey Mouse has brought into our lives.
