About The Artwork

Signed Artwork by Kay Uwe Rott. Open Edition. A short story about "Golden Ratio": Sophie had always been fascinated by the Golden Ratio. As a child, she would spend hours drawing spirals and shapes based on the magical ratio. As she grew older, she pursued a career in art, always trying to incorporate the Golden Ratio into her work. One day, Sophie was browsing through an art gallery when she came across a painting that took her breath away. It was a beautiful landscape, with rolling hills and a crystal-clear stream winding through the valley. But it was the composition that caught Sophie's eye. The painting was divided into two sections, with the horizon line following the Golden Ratio precisely. The colors and shapes all seemed to be in perfect harmony, creating a sense of peace and balance. Sophie couldn't stop staring at the painting. She knew she had to meet the artist who created it. Determined to meet him, Sophie set out on foot. Finally, the door creaked open, and a tall, thin man appeared. He had piercing blue eyes and a wild mane of hair. Sophie was a little taken aback, but she pressed on, explaining how much she admired his work. The artist listened quietly, and then he asked, "Do you know what the Golden Ratio is?" Sophie nodded eagerly, and the artist smiled. "Good," he said. "Because without the Golden Ratio, my painting would be just another landscape. But with it, it becomes something more. It becomes a reflection of the universe, a balance of order and chaos. It's the magic that makes it beautiful." Sophie nodded, feeling a deep sense of understanding. As she turned to leave, the artist called out to her. "Remember," he said, "the Golden Ratio is not just a mathematical concept. It's a key to unlocking the mysteries of the world. Use it well." Possibilities: If someone has the desire to have this image larger, this is of course individually feasible. Please send a personal message. We also can do Masterprints up to 290 cm x 180 cm.
