The Sorbet Collection – limited edition abstract artworks in acrylic and watercolour by Catherine Whitting – from the St James Whitting Studio, embraces the warm fresh palette of 2019. Light-hearted sweeping forms playfully scatter the canvas. Layers of crackling rose madder watercolour reveal cool watery undertones that remind one of the authentic and immersive experience of devouring cold rose sorbet in sweltering summers. Coral Sorbet celebrates the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of colour and paired with the cooling Sorbet Avalanche it is the perfect diptych to bring optimism and joyful play into any residential or commercial interior.
