About The Artwork
A natural purple amethyst slice enclosed in a circle of broken glass with the addition of sparkles, alcohol ink and epoxy resin forms a unique piece of art reflecting the beauty of natural materials and praising the creation of the bowels of our planet. The light passing through the amethyst gives a new look on each side. The sculpture stands securely on stainless steel metal legs screwed into a solid block of very strong wood called Ipe, Brazilian Walnut. The size of natural amethyst is 10 by 11 cm. The height of the sculpture is 32 cm (13 inches), including the stand. Width 21 cm (8 inches). Wooden stand measuring 14 by 15 cm (5 .5 by 6 inches) Made from high quality epoxy resin, giving it a hard, glass-like appearance and finish. A range of raw mica pigments, natural slice Amethyst, glass, spirit ink and glitter were used to create this vibrant piece of arts and crafts. Textured 3D elements look amazing. The resin works look very beautiful up close and you will love looking at all the intricate details! • These items are meticulously handcrafted by me. • I use epoxy, broken glass, acrylic stones, real crystals, glitter and powder pigments over layers to create a shimmery and realistic geode look. •End results are as glossy as glass. I have been painting since I learned how to hold a pencil. On my art road there are discoveries, stops, falls and rises, euphoria, love and joy from new discoveries. I studied 4 years in academic Russian art school, Interior Design Course at the Art School in Ramat Gan, Israel, and Graphic design from Beit Nelly College in Tel Aviv. Israel. These days I am painting, working on designing furniture and interior design, I create prints for textiles and working on illustrator. I get inspiration from nature, Sky, sea, minerals, natural phenomenathis is my place of power. , Female image, riddle and essence, Emotions, feelings and mood are what are reflected in my canvases. I am constantly in search, in the process of experiment and creativity. The flow of life directs me in different directions from abstract to figurative art, from pop art to modern. I am inspired by artists of the Silver Age and the surrealism of Salvador Dali, contemporary artists and the possibilities of new art materials. In my head, thousands of ideas overtake each other, require implementation. As an interior designer and artist at the same time, I want my paintings to fit into your home, inspire, create comfort and harmony, they warm your home or, conversely, bring coolness.
