About The Artwork
Encased by a steel frame, two plates of stone are mounted on an acrylic pour on plywood. Connecting the two plates are thick copper wires mimicking a hashtag. Social media, digital media, apps, and digital, online games are a very much a threat to our younger generation’s creativity, humanity, and productivity in the real life. It is sad to see so many good minds go to waste in the self-absorbed digital prison of virtual reality. This work is one of a series on this topic to be created.
