ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A sculpture in a perspex box built with little branches. With this sculpture I tried to create a den, a place of refuge where to feel safe. This piece is part of the Series Micromundos. The idea of this series is creates several pieces with materials I have found in the nature and around me, manipulating these materials to create my own world inside little boxes as memory capsules.

Born in Madrid, Spain (1978). My inspiration comes from nature and this helps me to express all kinds of feelings. I draw shapes, remembering all the experiences that are in my subconscious, experimenting with linear elements, that I superimpose and manipulate, in order to create organic formations with plenty of lyricism. Landscapes are turned into emotional stages, materialising in different disciplines, as a vital need to express thoughts, through a constant technical and plastic investigation. I create images simulating intimate scenes, rescued from the memory, provided with a personal sensibility. They show certain sensations of movement and change, that alters according to the position and distance they could be observed at.
