About The Artwork
The thrill of the chase, the endless pursuit, dog chases cat chases dog. Hold the cat's tail and the sculpture will spin, the pets chase each other around the tree, but they never catch each other. There are steel ballbearings fitted between the marble and the bronze. The meaning of this piece can be taken at face value, or it can be seen as an allegory, it would depend who is looking. I used the lost wax process, and foundry cast in bronze to ensure this piece will live forever, and be unique.
