Philippe Chesneau's universe encompasses numerous artistic territories: portraiture, landscape, genre scenes, still life, gestural abstraction, and thematic series. Some of his work is rooted in an intimate relationship with the landscape and the memory of places, while others delve deeper into fragmentation, erasure, or instinctive expression.
