ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the creation of this artwork I was searching for a clean, simple form, what is moving between the Earth and the Universe, connecting the two worlds with each other. In the middle of the sculpture the form turns around, what creates a tension, drilled through itself it is making a sacrifice and continues its way to the infinite.

I was born on 5th September 1958, in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania (Romania). I work with different materials, like bronze, stone, steel, metal, hay, and also express myself with different mediums, as painting, photography, film and mixed media. I have founded Arkhai Sculpture Park () under a fir forest in the village of Vlaha (Transylvania), where I have a permanent exhibition of my monumental hay sculptures and also the bronze ones. The park also serves as a multicultural center dedicated to artistic, cultural and educational events.
