ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Clay figure, discarded books with slightly burnt pages, and latex paint on panel. The figures and the books are securely mounted. The circular hole with burnt edge is about 17” in diameter. The wood panel is 24" x 24" x 2.5". In the mini book, I wrote positive words like "Empathy," "Kindness," "Love," etc. The burnt paper areas are hardened with polyurethane and resin so they won't flake off. Wall hanging. All ready; wire at the back. I wrote the title, signed and dated 2021 on the panel. Please enlarge the pictures to see the details.
