Anima Drawing

I am a California native born and raised in the Bay Area. Much of my youth was spent alone in my bedroom drawing and copying the panels of my favorite comic books. My first memories are drawing Batman and Spiderman, transfixed by both the story and the quality of line drawn by my favorite artists. In my twenties, I decided to go to art school. I started out as an Illustration major, but I only lasted a semester because I didn't like the idea of being told what to do my entire life. If I only knew then what I know now. I graduated with a degree in Fine Art and began showing in galleries while working as a muralist and portrait painter. Now I divide my time teaching at my alma mater and showing in various galleries around the United States.
