I am a Japanese painter based in Tokyo, specializing in contemporary Nihonga-style portraits that express the beauty and fragility of the human spirit. My works often depict faces as if they were blooming flowers—ephemeral, delicate, and poetic.
I studied traditional Japanese painting at Musashino Art University and have exhibited my works in over 25 solo shows in Japan and abroad. My paintings have been shown and sold at international art fairs in New York, Switzerland, Singapore, and Malaysia, where I achieved four consecutive sellouts.
Through my art, I aim to create quiet, emotional spaces that invite viewers to pause and reflect. Each piece is carefully made using natural pigments and layered textures, inspired by classical Japanese aesthetics and human emotion.
