Be "contemporary" isn't a question of rushing up to the "inconceivable", It's about being part of an idea, by the means of the painting in my case, expressing it in a sensitive way. The essential in my visual art is to find those simple inner processes commons to human experience (a reflection, a pleasure, a feeling) that aren't tied to a particular culture but "global". The material order of my work remains classic, like wood and canvas but in others my objective is to use its aesthetics possibilities, new relationships between material resources and mental resources that always can be reinvented.
