Sana Nezam is an international visual artist from Karachi, Pakistan, currently based in Dubai. Her socially engaged practice explores themes of identity, culture, feminism, and storytelling, blending contemporary and traditional visual languages to create layered narratives that resonate with both personal and collective experiences.
She is the First Prize winner of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) ArtBeat 2021 Competition in Pakistan and the First Prize winner in the Calligraffitti category at the Fujairah International Calligraphy & Ornamentation Competition 2025, presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
Sana has exhibited internationally at venues including Etihad Art Gallery Abu Dhabi, DIFC Art Nights 2024, Ryerson University Toronto, the Omani Society of Fine Arts, Dacia Gallery New York, the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and the Karachi Biennale, and has held a solo exhibition at ArtChowk Gallery, Karachi.
Her collaborative project The Butterfly Woman achieved the highest bid at an international exhibition and is now part of a prestigious private collection in Norway. She has also completed commissioned works including Divine Precedence for Bahria Foundation 1, Pakistan, and custom artworks for Pinch Gourmet Foodstuff & Supply LLC, Dubai, and her work has been featured in charity auctions supporting Dubai Cares and TCF Dubai.
Through her art, Sana Nezam continues to engage, inspire, and connect audiences worldwide.
