Anupama Nair

Self-taught artist based in San Francisco Bay Area, I was born and brought up in India where I was introduced to diverse culture, traditions, arts, history, languages and festivals, which have always been part of me.
My works are mostly abstract and can be classified Modern and expressionist kind. Favorite medium is acrylic and most of my works have dominant shades of blue and yellow. My artworks are an expression of myself, my feelings, the society and life around me. I’m also a big follower of ancient Indian Temple Mural Art.
I’m an engineer by profession and an artist by passion. At a point where I’m planning to take my passion for art to the next level - seeking for opportunities and exploring the audience to help mold my artistic career.
