I graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Art History, and UCLA with an MFA in film production. After making two feature films, including the cult western, Shoot The Sun Down, with Chris Walken and Margot Kidder, I concentrated on making art and poetry. I painted for several years, primarily in an Abstract- Expressionist style, but then fell in love with sculpture. Fist I worked in clay and bronze. I then moved to New York for five years to study at the Art Student's League, where I learned to carve stone with the great sculptor, Lorrie Goulet. I currently alternate between stone and bronze, but spend most of my time working with stone, especially marble.
