When I was a flight attendant I travelled around the world. One of the reasons I wanted to fly was so I could see and experience things that made me feel fulfilled in my heart. I knew I wanted to create my own art the moment I walked into art museum for the first time.
I’m not sure when I actually decided I wanted to be an artist, but what I do remember is not being able to stop thinking about art and wanting to become a part of the art world. I strove to become more knowledgeable each day.
I always work by following my feelings at the time, and also it depends on what I’m thinking about, such as a winter scene perhaps.
I use my senses to create my work. I often let the art evolve throughout my painting process, using my fast brush strokes and just letting it happen.
I try to always live in the moment throughout my life, and never forget to appreciate life's beauty and my reason for being here.
