Peter Foster

As a geologist and world traveler I have an eye for science and nature, inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and culture on my expeditions to Africa, Europe, South America and beyond. Between travels I split my time between Victoria BC and Houston TX. My work has been selected for juried exhibitions at the Houston Center for Photography, the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, South Carolina and the Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis. The world throws up some amazing scenes every day and it is my goal and pleasure to capture them for friends, family and fellow inhabitants of this wonderful blue planet.

I have attended classes at the Houston Center for Photography on the fundamentals of photography and the art of composition, and attended online learning through Coursera on the history of photographic art. Otherwise I am self taught!
