Born 1952 in Regensburg, Germany.Yearning for Italy!It is his love of Tuscan vineyards, of the coastlines of Liguria and Campania, the wild Apulian landscapes, but also of the picturesque narrow streets and squares of Italian cities.Ulrich Hartig succeeds in capturing Italy's beauty without any kitsch.Countless painting sojourns in Tuscany, Umbria and Southern Italy paved the way to his artistic success.The artist ist permantly represented on programs at well-known galleries as well as in various solo-exhibitions in germany.

Since 1991 numerous solo-exhibitions at well-named galleries in Germany, for example in Munich, Nuremberg, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Hamburg and Regensburg. Also in Cremona, Italy.
Participation at art-fairs in Salzburg/Austria and Reggio Emilia/Italy.
