Barbara D Angelo Månsson

I am an Italian/Swedish artist who blends traditional
and contemporary techniques in my work. Born and
raised in Italy, I have been living both in Sweden and
USA. After moving to Sweden, I shifted my focus from
drawing and photography to abstract painting, taking
inspiration from both American Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art movements.
My textured pieces are an exploration of perception, emotion, and the environment around me. Through my art, I aim to
convey the dynamic interplay between these elements,
inviting viewers to engage with the layers of meaning
within each piece. My artistic practice explores the intricate interplay of perception, emotion, and the environment. Through textured paintings and assembled sculptures,
