J Glenn Taylor is a self-taught artist who developed his practice as an urban outsider, working without formal guidance or alignment. His work is built from a process of figuring things out from the inside rather than following established paths.
He works within a system of psychological self-portraiture he calls Self Dialog, translating internal states into structured visual forms through a process-led approach that follows intuition over repetition. Across the IMAGOGAMI series and related abstractions, identity is explored as shifting presence, structure, and environment. The work forms an evolving language of internal dialogue.
