**About the Artist**
Svitlana (Lana) Pryhodko is a Canadian abstract artist whose work blends lyrical movement, muted palettes,
and emotional presence. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine and based in Mississauga, Canada since 2000, her evolving reflects a deep connection to both European and North American aesthetics.
Also known professionally as Lana Pryhodko, her paintings are signed “S. Lana” — a simplified and elegant reflecting her clean, minimalist direction and contemporary sensibility.

**Artistic Philosophy:**
Lana sees each composition as a quiet dialogue — a meditative interaction between color, gesture, and space.
Her abstract works are known for their calm energy and graceful flow, offering a visual space for introspection.

**Signature Style & Techniques:**
Her current series focuses on line-based abstractions with muted, well-balanced tones and soft transitions.
She works primarily in oil, often completing works in a single intuitive layer enhanced with pure pigments,
bringing luminosity to even the quietest hues. Recent paintings are signed 'S. Lana' to reflect her minimalist while earlier works are signed with her full name, 'Svitlana Pryhodko'.
