Florencia Magallanes

Florencia Magallanes is a visual artist based in London, UK. She graduated with a BFA from the Escuela Municipal de Artes Visuales (EMAV) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work explores the complexities of human emotions and relationships through a modern lens, often drawing inspiration from the influence of social media on contemporary life and the implications of eroticism and sexuality in power dynamics.
Her distinctive style is characterised by the combination, repetition, and juxtaposition of eye-catching sketched portraits, layered opacities, textures, and the expressive use of color. Florencia has exhibited her work in numerous cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Argentina, and her pieces are held in private collections worldwide.
Currently, Florencia is working on a series that incorporates AI-generated imagery from her own trained model, pushing the boundaries of digital art. Her art is a dynamic blend of personal insight and public commentary, inviting viewers into a world where traditional and digital media converge to create a new narrative of artistic expression.
