Mike'Ee Watson

I am an independent photographer/artist in the heart of Brixton - South West London.
I have been an established photographer for over 10 years but my dip into the art world has been something new addition from the past couple of years.
My work varies depending on what inspires me at the time, I envisage a subject and try to create a vision from it.
My work as a photographer is well established but I would like to take my artwork further.

Something Different - Asylum

I am currently shooting my next body of work which is a take on the patients locked in a padded cell in an asylum.
Each character has their own story and this is told through their eyes, actions, emotions and body. Every person has been secured in a strait jacket.

This is the most adventurous project I have undertaken and the response with the samples I have shown has been amazing, my aim is immerse the viewers into looking deep into the pictures and working out each emotion - listening to everyone's view, this is a unique look at the subject and this exhibit will be my first.
