Simone Marchetti

Simone Marchetti is an Italian photographer based in Berlin, with a background in anthropology and journalism. His work is rooted in an anthropological approach to image-making, exploring how individuals relate to social structures, collective memory and contemporary urban environments.

Moving between documentary observation and constructed imagery, he examines identity, generational perspectives, and the subtle tensions between personal experience and broader social realities.
