I have studied art in private classes and workshops since 1968 with many well known teachers in the Southern California/Los Angeles area. Tom Wudl a former teacher and mentor expanded my vision and helped me find a new way of looking at things and do so with "an edge". I was a member of STUDIOELEVEN under his guidance and became a part of a group that showed our work in many venues. I am no longer associated with the group as I felt it was time to move on to another teacher to expand and challenge myself as an artist and to move into other directions. I have a beautiful studio in my home in Hancock Park, Los Angeles and spend much time creating and making art there.....along with my Standard Poodle "Francis" and Pomeranian "Kramer". I have done several portraits of them. As an INTERIOR DESIGNER for 40 years I have worked within a framework that is filled with beautiful things...fabrics, furnishings, accessories, textiles, etc...and COLOR. I have an innate sense of color which has been enhanced and further developed by many years of design work. This love of color and creativity has translated into my art and how I paint.
