'''Ge Polo''' Czech/American Modern and Contemporary Artist. (* Ge Polo 30th October 1963) born in Prague C.Z. He pursued his passion for art though out his young life into his adult life through college and graduated in 1976 with as a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Graphics, Prague, Bohemia. He then pursued his working career and graduated in 1980 with a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Economics Prague C.Z. Seeking to pursue and further develop his true passion for art he immigrated to the United States in the mid 1980's. He opened his first studio and Graphic Design work shop in Brooklyn N.Y. in 1988. His first public exhibition was in Staten Island N.Y.and that was when his talent and expression as an artist was first recognized and praised. For one of his most popular works (HOMAGE TO KOKOPELLI )which he painted using only cigarette butts as brushes.He only repeated this unusual technique once. This was just one of many unique and funny stories surrounding his art work and life.In order to further share and display his works of art with the world in 1993 he formed and opened his own personal Internet site Ge Polo Art Company.
